Comments about privacy

There's a lot to talk about...I think importance towards privacy is great for folks who wants a little peace of mind in their lives. While I commend the developers for putting a lot of care in developing privacy software and apps, one of my biggest sources of frustrations is exaggerated rhetoric in privacy marketing.Catchy one-liners like "The human resistance needs you" and "Big Tech is spying on you" are designed to grab attention, it's elementary. Of course, this doesn't always happen, but it's still there. During my time on the internet, there have been quite a few websites whose marketing veers towards fear-based language.This "surveillance" some websites claim is actually telemetry. Telemetry collects data in order to improve experiences and/or products. There have been ethical concerns and discussions on how much data is being collected and how ad providers tend to make an anonymous profile for them to show ads to other people.Some people don't mind telemetry, while some do and choose to use privacy-oriented alternatives. Unfortunately, the loudest group tend to dominate the internet, and there may be times where aggressive rhetoric in marketing and blowing a small thing out of proportions wins out more than a nuanced explanation. This is what makes my blood boil. I won't stop them from using rhetoric if it means to raise awareness, however, in times like this, I wish for nuanced explanations and marketing to be more common in the privacy community.

Comments about Fandom

After reading the controversy section on Wikipedia, I think it's fair to say that I'll rarely come back to Fandom.That doesn't mean I'm going to yell at Fandom and say horrible things at it. Instead, what I'm getting at here is because there have been many problems surrounding Fandom, like the Grimace Shake ads, some wikis like Hollow Knight and Grand Theft Auto have hosted their own MediaWiki instance to regain total control and ensure an ad-free experience for readers.I, too, am a big supporter of independent wikis, which is why you'll find me in a few of NIWA's wikis. If I need to visit a Fandom wiki, I can use BreezeWiki, which is a website that removes distractions and gives you just the page's content only. As a last resort, I can go to the original page, armed with an ad blocker.However, I do have some criticism towards Fandom, and I'm going to explain them calmly here. For each Fandom wiki, there's a Forums section where anyone can make threads and comment on it. This is okay for me, but most of the time in my own opinion, wikis should be about documenting content. Some MediaWiki wikis have Discord servers or separate forums websites to remedy for this.Alongside that, in some wikis, vandalism is sometimes common. There are also some wikis that incorporates strange and nonsensical comments in an episode's gallery, have user-made userboxes that lean heavily into black and white thinking (Here's an extreme example I got from the Battle of Dream Island Wiki), and unnecessary toxicity and drama. These criticisms are why I'm more comfortable with independent wikis whose job is to document and archive content.

I've stopped making comics ever since I retired from the Cookie Run series after 5 years, so these are pretty old by now. Prior to my retirement on May 2025, the last comic I made was the Butter Shenanigans Teeniepings one.If you'd like a rough timeline, the comics I created were from 2021 to 2025. That's how old they are.Fun-fact: I also created some in my Macbook Air, however, I'll add them later in a separate section.

This was the last comic I posted in the wiki before entirely leaving to pursue other projects.

If I remember correctly, the second dialogue the Incorrect Quotes Generator spitted out originally said "Screw you, I'm not kissing any of you."

Here's a story (From my memories): A fan of Sparkling Cookie from the CRK Wiki went insane over this pose, causing the thread to be entirely removed due to absolute toxicity.

Prior to the removal of the thread, I calmed things down with a fun reference to the Backwards Long Jump glitch from the Japanese version of Super Mario 64. It never fixed anything.

Yeah, "Afrogaytoes" was one of the more dumber nicknames given by the Cookie Run: Kingdom Wiki forums. Why anyone would call him that or created that nickname is beyond me.

Hmm, this was sort of a reaction image for whenever someone made a "cursed" thread in the Wiki, just like the Eclair Cookie one..

Kind of inspired by Syrupyy's dabbing comic?

"Fishogato" was a common name for Affogato Cookie, and that meant a fountain of overused Affogato Cookie jokes. Ugh...

Comparisons to Elsa from Disney's Frozen and Frost Queen Cookie blew up HARD in the wiki...

Last panel dialogue is from a big Shy Guy in Paper Mario.

What happened was that I saw negative comments about her costume on the CRK Wiki and got mad.

This one came from a random Incorrect Quote Generator output. Now that I think about, I really shouldn't have used it. Sometimes they're filled with adult humour and profanity in them.

It was just a dumb coincidence I pointed out!

A Cookie Run: Kingdom Wiki admin (who I used to be friends with) named MIAWSTIC had this headcanon about Lobster Cookie and Mocha Ray Cookie being married.

These three Cookies are actually someone's most favourite Cookies, and that someone was a Cookie Run Kingdom: Wiki admin I used to be friends with: MIAWSTIC.

Dialogue taken from Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies - Russian Rhapsody. These days, I wouldn't recommend watching it because it has so many Nazi imagery, and has a racist Japanese joke at the end.

Comments about The Spriters Resources

I rarely comment, nor do I check the comments. Comments can be used to improve a spritesheet or request if something's missing. However, some have used comments as a mean to say random nonsense, like the Froggy Chair model submission from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which frustrates and baffles me.I also do not approve of sheets that have inappropriate commentary and jokes or intrusive content incorporated in them. Sheets with those things can make the user pay more attention to the joke itself rather than talking about the sheet. This is still accepted on the website, but it remains one of my biggest frustrations and a source of anger, and I do not wish to visit these sheets. I am not insulting anyone who makes spritesheets. Everyone did a great job at preserving content from video games. My whole point is that a spritesheet that has less joke commentary is more likely to be taken seriously, but this is just my own opinion, and it shouldn't be taken at face value....Correction. Sheets that have profanity, innuendoes, memes or wildly off-topic jokes and content are the ones that bother me a lot. Something like a sketch of Big Man in a sheet doesn't annoy me.
